BlueBay Computing Ltd was originally contracted for a three-month C# Windows Forms project to integrate live IP Camera streaming into Paxton's core Net2 product.
This project was finished ahead of schedule, and the finished product satisfied the Paxton IT department sufficiently that over the next 3 years BlueBay Computing was repeatedly contracted for additional work on their system.
Paxton manufactures Access Control Systems, developing software to configure, control, and report on user access events. This software is developed using both C# as well as Visual Basic 6 Windows Forms, querying an SQL Server database at the back end.
Amongst other tasks, the work carried out by Chris included using multiple IP Camera SDKs to integrate a wide variety or proprietary streaming systems into the Paxton product,
UDPClient socket communication and processing, as well as Windows Forms UI design and development and C# library object development. Some embedded programming was also involved.
